Winkpass respects your privacy. EavesDropper is designed so that your recordings, transcripts, and related content remain under your control.
EavesDropper does not collect personal data or usage data.
We do not operate analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, crash-reporting, or remote-configuration services within the app. We do not collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage history, recordings, transcripts, or information about the people or content in your recordings.
EavesDropper does not require an account.
Audio recordings and transcripts created in EavesDropper are processed and stored locally on your device.
Winkpass does not receive, store, access, or have the ability to view your recordings or transcripts.
Transcription is performed on-device using Apple technologies.
You control when recordings and transcripts are deleted from your device.
EavesDropper can communicate directly with your own nearby paired devices to display transcripts or transfer supported content.
This communication occurs directly between devices using local Apple networking technologies. Your content is not routed through or stored on Winkpass servers.
Information you intentionally transfer to another device is controlled by you.
The EavesDropper Apple Watch app communicates with the paired iPhone using Apple's WatchConnectivity technology.
Winkpass does not receive or store information transmitted between your Apple Watch and iPhone.
EavesDropper may offer purchases or subscriptions through Apple's App Store.
Purchases are processed by Apple using StoreKit. Winkpass does not receive your payment-card information.
Apple may process information relating to App Store transactions according to Apple's own privacy policies.
EavesDropper requests microphone access because audio recording is a core feature of the app.
Microphone access occurs only with permission granted through Apple's system privacy controls. You can change microphone permission at any time in your device's Settings.
Audio recorded by EavesDropper is not transmitted to Winkpass.
EavesDropper does not contain third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We do not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, AdMob, or similar tracking or advertising services in the current version of the app.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Because Winkpass does not collect or store your EavesDropper recordings, transcripts, or usage information on its servers, there is no corresponding user data held by Winkpass for us to retain or delete.
Recordings and transcripts stored within EavesDropper can be deleted by you from the app. Removing the app from your device also removes locally stored app data in accordance with Apple's platform behavior.
If you choose to contact Winkpass by email or another support method, we receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
This information is used only to respond to your inquiry, provide support, or address the issue you contacted us about. Support communications are separate from data collected through EavesDropper itself.
You may request deletion of information you have voluntarily provided to us by contacting us at the address below.
EavesDropper may provide links to external webpages, such as this Privacy Policy or applicable legal information. Opening those links may take you to a website or browser governed by that website's own privacy practices.
EavesDropper does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Because EavesDropper does not transmit user recordings, transcripts, or usage information to Winkpass, we do not maintain profiles or accounts for children or other users.
We may update this Privacy Policy if EavesDropper's features or privacy practices change.
If a future version of EavesDropper begins collecting data or introduces a third-party service that collects data, we will update this Privacy Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures as appropriate.
